SALBEAU offers unique leather accessories and bags made entirely by hand

While at fashion school in Paris, tired and frustrated with the rigorous and grueling ready to wear program, I chose to specialise in accessories and soon became obsessed with the material of leather and it's transformation into objects

The tactility of the craft attracted me, reminding me of my childhood days watching carpenters take wood and turn it into objects. From shaving to cutting, glueing and sewing, I am passionate about the process and what it produces

All pieces are made to order, unless stated otherwise

I work with high quality surplus soft leathers combined with harder materials to create opposition. Like the name Salbeau, 'dirty beautiful' in French made from alphabets in my full name.
